Work on the Neighbourhood Plan is being undertaken by a group of volunteers on behalf of the Parish Council, which is the “Qualifying Body” and ultimately responsible for delivering the Plan.

Exbourne is required to make room for about 30 new houses between now and 2034. Your Neighbourhood Plan Group has overcome initial opposition and persuaded the Council to accept the 9 houses of the new Wood Close development as counting towards those 30.
Sites now have to be chosen for the remaining houses. A number of sites have been proposed by local landowners and, after an assessment by an independent professional body, seven potential sites have been identified; one of these is already suitable for development and the remaining six potentially suitable. YOUR views are now needed as to which of these sites should be chosen.
